We are having a LITTLE GIRL!
We are sooooo excited about that. Hunter is too. He wanted a little sister and is impatient about 'when are you going to get her out'!!! I don't know how he is going to last until November....
We have decided to name her Emily Caitlin Scarboro. Emily is after my Granny Beasley. She would be so proud that a great grandbaby is going to be named after her.
Can't wait to meet you little lady. Mama, Daddy & Hunter have waited a long time for you.

Papa Beasley

Rest In Peace & Love, Papa. I Love you and do so miss you.

Update On The Family

Well, alot has happened since August when i last blogged (I am so bad. I really need to keep a tab on this)...So, Lets see if I can recall what has went on.......

Papa got sick and he is now in the nursing home for rehab, mainly to regain his strength. He will be coming home on April 1st. We are looking forward to that. He is homesick...Hopefully he will recover and be as good as "new"... We are aware that he will continue to get worse as time progresses due to the stroke. He is a pistol and has every nurse at that nursing home wrapped around his finger...They call him "Precious"!!!! Who would have thought that!

Hunter is growing up. Literally went through a groweth spurt. He will be starting Kindergarten in August. (makes me sad)...He is ready although I am not. My baby is growing up! He is a very smart child. I know that school will be a real learning experience. He is excited about it, part time, and the other times he wants to stay home with Mama.

Well, Here is the big news.....Chace, Hunter & I are going to have a BABY! I am about 7 1/2 weeks now. Only 32 weeks to go! I can't wait. The Baby is due November 7th according to the sonogram I had last week. The baby looked like a BEAN! We are going to do another sonogram April 13th to hear the heart beat. The lady said that my baby will have arms and legs at that point. I can't wait!!! Hunter is hoping for a Sister! (yeah, hopefully he is right!)

My Diet...

So, I am on a diet...
I know, I know....It's so hard...My sister, Jennifer is doing it with me...It makes it a little bit easier...
I have posted a Ticker on my blog, so you can keep track of how much weight I've lost...
I am so not stupid. You will never know how much I weighed. :)
Just how many pounds I have lost...
I hope that this (all my friends and family) knowing will help me be motivated to finish what I've started...
I will try to post all I can...And later (when I am skinny) I just might post before and after pictures.
Ta Ta

Thought Of The Day...We do not remember days, we remember moments. Make moments worth remembering.
We have been so busy since my last post. Our son, Hunter has turned 4 years old. I just can't believe that he has grown so much. We had him the grandest Diego/Safari party. He absolutely loved it. We had all kinds of goodies, balloons, streamers. The jungle food consisted of Jungle Juice (green kool-aide), Grilled Boa (hotdogs), Beetle Wings (potato chips) Wild Boar (Barbeque), Bug Larva (Dip), Chimp Toes (cheetos) & Elephant Food (boiled peanuts). Oh, and the most beautiful Jungle Two Tiered Cake ever. Hunter's Aunt Jenn made that for him with so much love. It was awsome with monkey's, streams and elephants....Just plain cute....I really appreciate her doing that for Hunt. He recieved a mother load of presents. (we still havn't opened them all) I believe the total number of guests we had were like 40ish. I made goodie bags out of brown paper bags wrapped in twine with "Jungle Delivery" signs on them. He is one blessed little boy. He very much enjoyed his day with his family and friends that love him so very much. After all of that, I still can't believe my baby is 4...
The other day Hunter came busting in our room, where Chace and I were, "Mama, Daddy, Can I spend the night with Maddy?" To which we said "Yes" (Maddy lives with us, so he would be going very far). Then he just takes off running and slams the door...(He was very excited....Mama said "Yes")... Then about 3 minutes later here he comes busting through again..."Mama, Daddy, Can I borrow the car?"..."NO" we said together as if on que....Can he borrow the car...Is he crazy?!?!?! (That is such a scary thought, and a good demonstration of how he is just a growing up)
Well, that's all for now....

'Cause My Cup has overflowed

I've never made a fortune,
and it's probably too late now.
But I don't worry about that much,
I'm happy anyhow.
And as I go along life's way,
I'm reaping better than I sowed.
I'm drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.
Haven't got a lot of riches,
and sometimes the going's tough.
But I've got loving ones all around me,
and that makes me rich enough.
I thank God for his blessings,
and the mercies He's bestowed.
I'm drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.
I remember times when things went wrong,
My faith wore somewhat thin.
But all at once the dark clouds broke,
and the sun peeped through again.
So Lord, help me not to gripe,
about the tough rows I have hoed.
I'm drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.
If God gives me strength and courage,
When the way grows steep and rough.
I'll not ask for other blessings,
I'm already blessed enough.
And may I never be too busy,
to help others bear their loads.
Then I'll keep drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.
